Karabo, who's a graphic designer and DJ, according to his Twitter bio, shared a killer design for Bafana Bafana and Le Coq Sportif.

The jersey is inspired by Bafana's famous AFCON 1996 Kappa kit, which is etched in South African football history as one of the finest National Team jerseys of all time.

Karabo designed a home (Yellow) and away jersey (green) and incorporated some patterns that somewhat resemble the 96 vintage classic.

Here's what he had to say about the patterns:

I just tried to avoid using ethnic patterns. Only patterns I have on it are derived from the national flag around the collar and my own custom patterns.— K A R A B O (@KVRVBO_Official) September 1, 2022

I just tried to avoid using ethnic patterns. Only patterns I have on it are derived from the national flag around the collar and my own custom patterns.

The intricate patterns on the collar and the jersey itself make this kit an amazing modern design that's inspired by the past.

Could this design be the winner? It certainly looks good enough.
